Nhow hotel to open on top of Hamburg’s St Pauli bunker


The hotel will be cover five floors in the shape of a pyramid being added to the Hamburg Flak tower in the city’s St Pauli district, which was built as a bunker during World War II.

Offering 136 rooms, a bar, a cafe and a restaurant, the property will feature a rooftop garden and panoramic views of Hamburg including the Elbphilharmonie and a walkway that will surround the bunker. It is due to open in mid-2021.

Nhow is NH Hotel Group’s ‘designer and lifestyle’ brand and has six other properties in the pipeline over the next three years in addition to Hamburg in Rome, Brussels, Santiago de Chile, Lima, Amsterdam and Frankfurt. A further opening in London is scheduled January 2020.
