Beginning in May, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts’adults-only Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado in the Dominican Republic will broaden its reach to the family market.
“Though the hotel will retain its tranquil spirit, we have decided to remove the adults-only restriction based on feedback from past guests who are eager to enjoy the resort with their families and from our travel partners who help coordinate and book stays,” said Helen Montijano, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts’ vice president of sales and marketing for the U.S. and Canada.
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will introduce its Bahia Scouts kids program at the 149-room resort, which includes arts-and-crafts activities, games, cooking workshops and eco excursions, and more.
Rates at the all-inclusive resort include all meals; 24-hour room service; complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property; daily restocked mini-bar, including alcoholic beverages restocked daily; non-motorized watersports; and more.
The resort is the only property on Cayo Levantado and is accessible by ferry from a private Bahia Principe dock in Samaná.
In Samaná itself, Bahia Principe resorts include the adults-only Luxury Bahia Principe Samaná, the Grand Bahia Principe Cayacoa and the Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo. In all, Principe Hotels & Resorts features 12 properties in the Dominican Republic.
